Great Provence-feeling here! Did you know that the blue paint originally was to keep the insects, flies and so on away? Yes, indeed! Some years ago I lived for 1 year in the Provence area (near Aups) and so I heard about that. Lovely flower-compositions you made, by the way.

Next month we are going to the Provence and I will take a lot of Lavendel with me :) I want to make some wreaths from it, it smells so lovely in the sleepingroom.

My Lavender plants except One, that I bought last year did not survive the cold whinter we had!
But lucky, I picked and saved flowers to dry!

Wauw you already have fresh lavender!I think it's a bit warmer where you live because mine aren't in bloom yet.I've bought white lavenders last year and I'm very excited how they going to bloom in my garden.Some lavenders are a bit tender and different than the usual ones.but so far so good!
