Madonna...

I bought this Madonna statu
e at the last antique market ...I've been looking for it for a long time...that's strange but in a catholic country as Italy I'd difficulties to find it! I bought the table in Antibes some years ago...I've repainted it with the "patine" technique...I want to give a new look to some pieces of furniture...new home new look! I'm going definitively to move to my mum's home next Monday...the last effort before enjoying a well-earned rest!

Hi Vale!!
Wonderful madonna...would really like one of them in my home as well! even though I`m not a catholic. Had the opportunity to spend eastern in Rome in 2003, and the basilica of st Peter was quite an experience those days....

Hope you can take some days off work and relax and do something nice when you finally move. Hope for you that things will be better very soon!!

We spent this weekend at the mountains, really nice!! Snow and wonderful winter sky, - sunny days and stars shining bright during night. The stars are never so intense and wonderful as in the mountain a winter night.

Have a nice evening!!
