Gifts and projects

The iron lantern and the high mercury glass one are the gifts my children gave me for Christmas...



















...it's been a long time I'd like to reproduce mercury glass by myself...finally I found some suggestions on the web and I tried...

















....silver leaves and special glue...I made also two fabric pom pom...













...simple projects for festive days!

The day after!

Another Christmas passed...I'm always tired the day after...Christmas is a very long day...it starts early making food and setting the table..

















...we have our traditional food every year...we usually spend Christmas with family and friends..after lunch Santa arrives for my niece Camilla and we all open the gifts and that's a long procedure...

















...dinner is easier...we eat what remains from the lunch...time to say good bye to the guests and finally we can rest!

Today it's time to relax...a long hot bath...some little projects and chatting with friends!

...I made my gift paper by myself...little gifts but carefully wrapped...

























...a small Christmas tree in black and white...we have also a big one...my children want a traditional one...so this is my personal tree...

I'll be on holiday for 10 days...time for relaxing, spending time with my family and friends and of course..for blogging!

...on Dec 8 we was at Palazzuolo sul Senio...it has been very hard to reach it....a very long way through the mountains with a very thik fog and rain...but the village is so lovely....


















...it's famous for its Xmas markets and for its cribs...


















...stalls of delicious and typical food...

Unfortunately the weather was terrible...rain and wind...we could damage our stuff, so we decided to dismantle our stall and had a tour!
No sales but anyway we had a nice time!

Now I've to tell you 7 things about myself...

1. I love chocolate
2. I'd like to move to the South of France one day
3. I love travelling...Europe and Asia are my favourite continents
4. Friendship is very important for me
5. I don't like yellow, red or orange flowers (except for red roses!!!)
6. I'm romantic but I never found the right man for me
7. I don't like banality and the lack of imagination
8. My brain is always in activity and my creativity is the best source for me to overcome difficulties
9. I live day by day...no long-term projects anymore but lots of dreams!
10. I'm very patient and I have a great capacity for endurance, but when someone disappoints me... it's difficult for me to change my mind...

I should give the award to 7 blogfriends, but as you know I usually give my awards to each of you because you all deserve it!

We had a market yesterday and it has been a success! We sold lots of items and we received many compliments for our stuff...and this is what we liked more!
Onother market tomorrow...we leave today beacause it's a bit far from Lucca!
