Etched glasses

This is my last creation for LC...

















...I etched glasses with ornaments and "eau" and that's the result!

















They have the same decorations of the bottles I posted sometimes ago...
Still Summertime...warm and sunny days...better for holidays than for working!

Autumn is not my favourite season...days are shorter and shorter, it often rains, nature goes to sleep...

















...but I can say that even this melancholic time has its beauty...

Lait et pain

At the last flea market we bought some old milk bottles for LC and for us too...

















...don't you think they're better than the bricks??? I use them not only for milk but for water too...they give a touch of "country" to my everyday table..

















...I like simple food and I adore milk...it has a relaxing power on me and it brings out my childish side!

I created a little flowerbed in the garden...no grass grown in that area so I need to decorate it...

Laura!

As I told you this has been a very special week end! Laura came to Italy and to visit me and Paola! It's been wonderful to meet her and her family! It's the first time I meet a blogfriend and it could't be better! Laura is a sweet and so nice girl and it'is a pity she lives so far...also her husband, sister and brother-in-law are so kind and pleasant...we never see each other but I feel like I've known them for a long time!

















...they gave me and Paola some faboulous gifts...and so nicely wrapped...

















...a lovely notebook, scented soaps, an elephant charm...















...these fantastic postcards with so gorgeous colours and illustrations...and the nice American magazine Where Women Create...I didn't know it...now I've to study!!! But surely Laura &Co have been the best gift!!!

A very nice day...sunny but finally not very hot...some of our friends had a stall too...a lot of fun and sales! Tha next market on December...now we have to make the Christmas collection!

Murabilia 2009

Yesterday I spent my afternoon visiting Murabilia...a long walk around the ancient walls...lots of stalls and stunning plants coming from every part of Italy, from France, England and Scotland...

Surprise!

It's time to reveal the surprise I told you about in my previous post...Laura will come to Lucca on Sept. 12! I'm very happy to meet her, her sister, her husband and her brother in law! It's the first time I'll meet a blog-friend and we (Paola and I) are very excited! Laura suggested to tell you at the same time...voilà! Look at 52 FLEA for her "revelation"!

Week end events in Lucca

Two nice events this week end in Lucca...Murabilia which is a wide exhibition and market of plants and flowers which takes place on the ancient walls around the town...






...the second hand market where everybody can sell old stuff or handmade crafts...LC will have a stall for the first time...we're excited!



















September is a special month in Lucca...lots of events to celebrate the "Settembre Lucchese" and the "Holy Face"...but I'll tell more about this tradition in one on my next posts...I'll have a special surprise this year....
