Two months ago I bought this old bird-cage at Lucca's antique market! The seller told me that it's from Tyrol! I thought to repaint it, because it's a bit spoilt, but I've now decided I like it in this way! I often wonder why I love cages so much...I'm even phobic of birds... they are hanging on the wall of my balcony and from the ceiling of the kitchen!
I want to thank my German friend Iris/Herzblatt (http://corapatchwork.blogspot.com/) who gave me a nice award!!! She is so friendly and she has a very nice blog! I'll give this award to two other blogs... I'll do it as soon as possible...but now I must go to work!!!

I love bird-cages, too, but only without birds, because I think, they must fly, that`s much better than having them in prison.

I lived in Milano for about 2 years and have not visited Lucca yet. I went often (pretty much every weekend) to Lago di Garda and Bolzano. My then love was a windsurfer and wanted to leave the city every weekend, and his parents lived in Bolzano.
