Market Sunday for me and Paola yesterday...we had our stall in the main square of Fiesole...
...Fiesole is a small town close to Florence...
...the cathedral...
...cloister...
...the little ancient church of Santa Maria Primerana...
...noble crests on the facade of the City Hall...
A very nice and sunny day...we sold a lot of our old items, but found nothing special to buy!
Happy new week!!!

Happy New week to you Vale, the market looked so interesting. Some day I will go to Italy for the markets. Hugs, Margie.

Hello my dear friend Vale,
Such a beautiful day to be under the sun looking at treasures! Sorry you did not find anything to bring home with you but perhaps next time or on our trip together to the French brocante!!!Give my warmest regards to Paola and your mother!
Take care, Laura
A few years ago we were in Florence and we found it a beautiful city!! We were five times (years) in Tuscany on holiday, but I've never read of a brocante market or a brocante marketstore or found it. Are there special events or addresses where you can buy it? I'm sure we will visit Italy the next years (maybe spring 2010), than it's always handy to know!!
Greetings, Ingrid
Splendidi scorci!
Ottima riuscita di giornata direi... ;-)

Hello Vale,
I do have some good memories of Florence where I went as a young girl and that trip contributed to big and happy changements in my life! :)
Those noble crests would be lovely garden-decorations I guess, but we shouldn´t try to take them off the wall here, haha.
Have a good day, best regards,
Marjolijn
It looks like a beautiful little town... And I think I remember the name of the city.. I think I saw it last year, when we were to FLorence.

Thank you so much for the nice words.

Ciao Vale, bellissimi scorci di Fiesole!!! Il non trovare niente al mercatino dell'antiquariato fa parte del rischio di questo nostro "mestiere" di appassionate "chineuses".
Baci
