Sun and dreams...

A faboulous sunny and warm day today! I went with my daughter Ginevra to the countryside for a pic-nic...we usually go to the same place...I went there whan I was a child and I used to take my children in this place in the Spring days when they were younger...
...I've always loved this abandened country home among olive-trees and I always wonder how it could be inside...today I decided to approach it...I found the doors open and...I entered...

...I took some photos inside and outside...

...the kitchen...

...an old barrel...

...the barn...

...an abandoned cart...

...the stone facade...

...a little stable...

...the windows' view...

...purple anemones...

...I started dreaming how I could restore and decorate it...what kind of plants and flowers I could plant in the garden, what kind of furniture I could buy...dreaming in a sunny day is a great pleasure!

Une maison abandonnée ce sont des souvenirs enfuis.
C'est bon de rêver que quelqu'un va l'aimer à nouveau et lui redonner vie.
Merveilleuses tes photos printanières.

Oh my!! -
Vale, you just tell me, and I will come running with all my millions (hahaha!!) - and we buy the place!!
Imagine living there!! - this is a DREAM!! -
Inviting people for different things....how to make italian food, live here for a week....how to paint...live here for a week... - an axcellent chef in the kitchen... - mh....!!!

I have started THE FIRST DAY of MY year today. I am a bit confused, - thinking I have forgotten something, meetings...papers...speaches... - I am a bit stressed... - perhaps I need a couple of weeks to learn that I really CAN cool down, - so today I am going out skiing again, alone in the forest...makes me feel fantastic...!
Have a nice day!

MODERN COUNTRY ha detto...

Dear Vale, you live in a country of beauty!! I love the abandened country homes among olive-trees also. And what a exciting thing to do, just entering and find these hidden beautiful rooms full of charm. It is fantastic!! I love this rustic feel, and further down my path I am dreaming of decorating a farm house with contrasting bright and rustic.

Yes I also recently heard about Flo. Life can sometimes seem so brutally unfair. And then we wake up and notice life how it really is. I hope her family and friends have magical moments to remember.

Hugs, Aina

Hello Vale

What a beautiful place, I am amazed that it is still empty and that no one is restoring it!

I can see how you would get so much pleasure from having a picnic there.

I too would have enjoyed imagining what I would do with it.

Take care

Ciao Bella,
don`t forget a little sunny guest-room for me in this wonderful house....I can`t stop watching your pictures...when I look out of my window I only see fog and mountains of snow...metres high....and because it is very very cold at the moment...-10° and more, they don`t melt.I will creep into my computer into your pictures and ..*bingo*..can you see me looking out of the right window of the stone facade....*lol*...with a glass of champagne in my left hand and a brush to paint the walls in my right one....
You see, I can dream, too....
Io sogno di la casa e mio camera..... e la luna....
Lasciati abbraciare
