Seltz siphons!

I gorget to show you two of my finds at the last flea market...it's a long time I'd like to have one and finally I found...two!




















...the green one is not decorated but in its nice coulour it' s very fresh...the transparent one is beautifully etched and you know I love etched glass!


















I bought them for LC...but now they are on my kitchen shelf...I want to enjoy them for a while till I'll sell them!

I've worked in the garden the rest of the time...planting new plants and eradicating the roots of a big tree...my back is destroyed now!
Time for a coffee with a special friend from Norway...she was the sister in law of my ex...she is a very lovely person and she is in love with Tuscany...a nice opportunity to see her again!!!
A little trip in the countryside and a nice harvest...how generous is nature in Spring time! I took some hours to make floral arrangements and spread them around my home!

During this week end there's a special event in Lucca....VerdeMura...it's a wonderful fair of plants and gerdening which takes place on the ancient walls...hoping in sunny days I'm looking forward spending my time walking and hunting for new plants for my garden! The problem is that my garden is very small...so I must limit myself!

Label-mania!

I had my metal period...do you remember??? Well, this's my linen label time!

Milk bottle and father's day

I like milk...my childish side finds milk something reassuring...it heats when it's cold and restore when it's hot...

















...I wanted a special bottle for it...I printed the label...and now my milk has a pretty bottle!
The letter biscuits are called quaresimali...they're a simple and traditional recipe in Tuscany for the time before Easter...made of sugar, cocoa and albumen...simple but delicious!


Today is father' day...

...now he is not with us anymore...thank you papà...you've been the only man of my life who made me fly!

Thanks to your suggestions now I know that those flowers are Helleborus!

















...I didn't imagine they grow spontaneously in the field...I came back to pick some more...

















...I've transplanted some of them in my garden hoping they'll blossom next year...cross the fingers!

Back gardening!

A cold week end but with a marvellous sun....time to go back gardening!

A lot of work to be done in the garden...new buds everywhere...despite the low temperatures nature is awakening from this long Winter...I've started repainting the garden chairs and tables...some visits to the garden shops...new projects...I need to stay outdoor, feeling the warm sunrays on my skin, enjoying the longer and longer days...

I've been to the cinema ...Le concert by Radu Mihaileanu...a beautiful movie with an amazing music...I recommend it!
