Lucca  from my balcony!
Some of you asked me for a clearer image of  the background of my photos!
The dome and  the bell-tower you see in front is S. Giovanni e Reparata, now used as auditorium. It was built in XII century on the remains of a Roman Domus from the 1st century B.C., on the remains of Roman thermal baths, on the remains of an Early Christian basilica from the 4th-5th centuries A.D., on those of the Baptistry and the crypt from the 9th century A.D.
Behind you can see the San Martino Cathedral with its Romanesque marmoreous façade and beautiful portico and by the 13th century bell tower embellished with merlons.

Hi Valentina!

I was so happy to see your comment! Of course you can put my blog on your link list and I would like to put your blogg on my list as well, if that´s ok with you.

It´s so nice to have found your Italian blogg, I have to go back and read ALL of it. Thanks for writing in English! I thought I would understand Italian since I studied Spanish once upon a time but to be honest the only thing I´m sure I remeber is "una cerveza por favor" ;-)

Have a nice day!

Buongiorno!! Ho fatto una corsa italiano tanti anni fa...hahaha so many years ago that I cannot even remember if this is italian or just my imagianation! So it's good you write in english. Though i do understand your italian, its much easier to read than to think what to write for your self.
Thanks for visiting my blog. You have a gorgeous view from your window. Arrivederci!

Ciao! Pls feel free to use my e-mail: Plsa let me know if you have one.

Thanks for the compliments. I am Filipino and multilingual (Spanish and English). Italian is such a romantic language and I don't think it is that hard to learn. The internet is also a great tool to learn this language.

Ohh...I love your blog and I love Lucca!! I was there several years ago , it is a marvellous city. I have visited a lot of cities and areas in Italy, everywhere it was great. I have got Italian anchestors, my grand-grandfather born in 1854 was Italian, he came from St. Fior (provincia Trient)and his name was Luigi Antoniazzi. So I have got a lot of Italian blood....:-))
Some years ago I began to learn Italian but because I hadn`t got enough time I stopped it again.
Sono tedesca... abita à Germania....
